The new facial: LumavescenceWhat is it?A high-tech, anti-ageing LED light therapy facial. What does it do?Helps to smooth out skin, making fine lines and wrinkles less visible. The facial-toning action firms skin and is said to improve overall clarity and texture. Enlarged pores and acne-prone, congested areas are reduced. How does it work?Lumavescence uses both red and infrared light to go deeper below the skin's surface and stimulate the body's own collagen and elastin production. Who is it good for?The time-poor who want an express skin treatment that offers instant results. It's non-invasive with no side effects (and it doesn't hurt!) so you can go straight back to the office afterwards. What did we think?Skin glowed after the first session but it was after a full course of six treatments that it looked markedly brighter and fresher. Fine lines were less noticeable and it helped to clear up blemishes and reduce broken capillaries. How much does it cost? It's not cheap. Half-hour treatments start from $120 each, with packages from $720 for six treatments. Where to find it?Milk Face Place & Spa, Paddington.
