When the Lights Come UpSam ShinazziShinazzi is a songwriter from Sydney and has a downbeat, melancholy vocal style that tends to make every song sound like it's about a break-up. Even songs like Good Things, which is supposed to be happy, sounds more like the end of a relationship than the beginning. So it's handy that most of the songs on this often sparse, Buffalo Tom-influenced album are about heartbreak. But that sameness tends to work against the album.
